Bath Dive Centre Customers require parking from10 to 45 minutes for loading/unloading. Resident parking adjacent Dive centre will restrict customers |
Proposals sought by local residents who, over a number of years found it increasingly difficult to park. Each resident and business will be entitled to apply for up two permits per year. I am aware local residents have consulted with local businesses prior to public consultation. It is within the exemptions of the proposals for any vehicle to park for loading/unloading without displaying a permit. Vehicles can park for as long as necessary to complete the activity providing the driver can provide proof of receipt, delivery note etc. I can not set aside part of the public highway for one specific business |

Upper Bristol Road not included within the parking scheme so the existing limited waiting bays there will remain. When parking with a Disabled (blue Badge) a permit is not required. Other vehicles can park without a permit provided they can demonstrate loading/unloading is taking place. |

Disabled Resident concerns for paying for parking with blue badge holder (money making exercise for the council). |
Providing your vehicle displays your blue badge you will not be required to purchase a permit. When vehicles park displaying a blue badge they would not need to display a permit. |
